Post by The Inspector »

A pair of random party buses near the airport.

No idea who they belong to.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever seen a MAN SL200 on an Ansair Orana body before.

I looked up in the Fleet-list for the Merc, this is ex STA m/o 3095, last reported to be with Newcastle Party bus @ Awaba NSW, unfortunately I don't have any more information then that.

Not sure on the History of the MAN SL200 through, could be a rebody since I'm struggling to find information & pictures anyone has taken with a SL200 being on an "Ansair Orana" body.

I think it might be ex Dineen Group
38 3038AO MAN SL202 6ABA080137AX00530 Ansair/Busworks "Orana" 2744/23 1.1996 B49F PAN
ex NQJ088.

Maybe that's why I couldn't find information because I was focused on the "SL200" chassis instead of "SL202" when searching. The SL202's must of been a few off made for the Orana range as even just using general terms like "MAN Ansair Orana" failed to yield any relevant results and if they did they were definitely not on an SL202 or SL200 Chassis with the Ansair Orana body.

Both reported Vins for the MAN end in 0530 so probably the same bus. At least we possibly both know their former history now except for their current owner / operator.

You are correct, I did a rego check and it said SL200 so that's where I got it wrong.

Coachella is a place in southern California in the U.S.
Geez we have awful awful taste in liveries in Australia these days.
Unapologetically hate attention seeking bus pax.
