While a few existed in their peak period, the lower lounge seating style and its recording as LC51/9FT is rare these days. I do know now from the fleet lists that this vehicle had its Volvo engine replaced with a Cummins which explained the reference to that on the rear of the vehicle. Nothing else special about it to my knowledge.

From what I remember seeing, some Twin Decks had 5 seats and a galley unit downstairs. The total seating capacity was 52.Briscoe's Coaches had 2. Most of the others had 9 seats downstairs.Across Australia Coachlines had 2 of them.I dont know whether there were any other variations built. I guess some were repowered.Greyhound and Stateliner were known to have swapped engines and gearboxes in there Adelaide based Twin Decks.
Lower deck seating in TV3045, 5 facing forward 4 looking at the back, space for stair access (and toilet) on NS, have driven both this and TV694, when Bronzewing (Tahmoor) had it after Manly.
Seating was changed by Bronzewing to a 3 / 2 set up for school charters.
TV 3045 when I drove it was 45 recliners upstairs and 9 in the lower section. It was then reseated to fixed coach seats with 52 and 9; making it a 61 seater. Later it was re-engined with a Cummins.
