I'm probably a bit late with this info. Picture 2 & 6 weren't at Sandringham, they were at Dolls Point, cnr Russell Ave & Clareville Ave. The old tram shed was to be demolished but was saved by the residents who voluntarily restored it. Later on a service station was built behind it. It is now a commercial/residential building consisting of 6 units, businesses & Foodies, the best coffee shop ever. Trolley buses replaced the steam trams in 1939 & were replaced by smelly diesels in 1959. We residents were not happy Jan.
