I used to be a regular visitor to Murwillumbah travelling down on the Topline Tours coaches to the RSL.

It is interesting how Brims have got their own customised plates with the word Brims written on it. Not many operators have personalised number plates made up for their buses like how Brims have.

Well accredited operators are not really meant to have personalised plates anymore, Australia Wide Coaches had AWC xxx plates for their coaches at one point as well as Deanes of Queanbeyan having some buses registered as BUS xxx. The RTA decreed that buses or coaches needed to be on either a m/o, MO or TV plate.
I guess these guys get away with it because of where they are....

Those photo's are a few years old. I'm sure those buses are now on standard issue or QLD issue.

there are no BRIMS plates around here now, Murwillumbah bus co. took over the school and route runs, and Brims to long distance charters, mostly the snow runs.
They have BCxxx (Brims Coaches) plates.
Higgins still has the ex- stonestreets merc.
BRIMS 5 is now murbah bus co 41 (3041MO)
all others have either gone to Currumbin Valley Bus and Coach or sold.

Stonestreets livery is/was rather interesting IMO.
