I Remember when Stagecoach couldn't get a look in with Christchurch. Good to see a Kiwi firm getting the Leopard fleet....

I believe Go Bus is owned by an Australian private equity fund? It's definately not Kiwi owned.

Sadly no, in fact Go Bus is probably a good example of a larger company preventing such little ol local firms from growing or even retaining their current business. e.g the 2008 school tender round.

Red Bus could be the next company to be sold if Christchurch City Council decide to sell the Business...

funny didnt Red Bus and Leopard want to merge in the early 2000's

**Found URL*** http://www.comcom.govt.nz/the-commissio ... ssiond1200

seems a double standard if Go Bus were to acquire Red Bus.

The issue back then was that Redbus and Leopard were the only operators. Another takeover attempt from Redbus occurred a few years after that which was cleared because Christchurch Bus Services were operating by then but the sale didn't happen.

I did see a bus on the #5 route in what appeared to be re-sprayed in Gobus colours

All other Leopard buses have their Leopards removed

Hi Guys

Couple Leopard buses are painted up to Gobus Charter Livery like they did on CBS buses that's for colours for Gobus Christchurch down.
Like here the colors for Gobus Green Hamilton Urban
Yellow for Tauranga Bayhopper and Selwyn Star buses
Blue for B-line Services also Raglan Bus
White & Green and Orange strip for Charter,School and Urban Buses for Christchurch,Hastings and Gisborne (Tauranga School buses etc) :D :D
My bus is Gobus 121 No1 is allow to drive it or else it gose off the road completly for driving and looking now im totally upset is see 121 bad coolant leak and also loads of problems also

Forget the old go Bus charter livery - that livery is now the national livery for any Go bus operation aside of Bay Hopper , Blue Line and The Comet
the Selwyn Star livery will vanish soon when Ecan make their intentions known and wipe out the livery on those buses totally another 16 buses to be painted..

Bus Travel NZ is the trading arm of the Leopard Business in Auckland. They are the same Company.
