New Carriages and Timetable for The Overlander...

Postby Paul_Nicholson » Thu May 17, 2012 6:10 pm

Seems quite obvious? A travel experience, more akin to a cruise, rather than a voyage from port to port. Surely most people wanting to get from A to B in New Zealand in 2012 would either fly or drive?

That's wrong, Wednesday is the off day, and it will spend Wednesday in Otahuhu.

Quite along the vein that GSR have geared their train services towards here in Australia... especially looking at the similarly named "The Overland" between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Ribble can you please ensure what you are posting is accurate before you post please?. I have already found numerous errors in your post.

Can you please change the caption for the photo you edited into your original post and tell us who took it. I am fairly certain you didnt, and it could not have been taken in Waiouru as the AK cars have never set foot in the North Island! Not even once!

If you want us to take you seriously, be accurate, check what you have written is correct, and if you are posting photographs that are not yours, say so, tell us who did, make damn sure you have their permission and caption it accurately!

New Carriages; Timetable Name for The Overlander...

You may be correct Kaiwhara, in what you are saying about the accuracy of postings, however can please not be so personal when making your point. This forum has a number of people who read and post to it. It doesn't make for pleasant reading when you write a personal comment the way you did. I as I say, if the information is inaccurate you just need to point it out - nicely.

Well that's annoying as Ribble often has useful information, particularly re Kiwi Bus Builders.

Ribble

Its not just the NZ group its all over this forum you just have to look to see previous
posters who don't bother anymore, example a few young teens who were berated a
number of times re simple things like spelling and have not seen them for sometime.
The reply's I've seen from members/moderators to posts in the past ,one would hope
they are not actively involved in the industry and dealing with the public that provides
them with an income, if they can verbally attack members I wonder how they deal with
the public or do they think they are protected sitting behind a PC screen.
