UK trade magazine "RouteOne" reports that the first 12 chassis of this order are in NZ and are being bodied by Kiwi Bus for delivery in June.

What free bus? There isn't one after August...

Red will be the Inner City Route which will run from Wynyard Quarter to Britomart, then down Queen Street terminating on K' Road. This route besides Airbus Express will be the only route on Queen St.

Will these new Alexander Dennis buses replace current aging fleet. I read that Kiwi are hoping to deliver up to 4 buses per week. With 30 by the time the RWC starts. With such a high demand for public transport in Auckland will NZ Bus retain older vehicles like the 500's, 1100's, 1200's, 1700's and 1800's in public service over the next few years suplementing the new fleet?
