I have a query regarding new buses 1039 and 1040. These buses are shown on Fleet Lists as being from Reservoir depot but I have seen them on the 382, 566 and 567 routes so are they from Bundoora?

They may be on loan at the moment to Bundoora, due to the amount of buses being used on the Caulfield Group shutdown

Saw those buses myself on the same routes Richard1207 mentioned in his post yesterday. They are probably on loan also because of Transdev's leasing as well.

UPDATE:

for info on bus 1043's body, it is an iriZar, according to Dyson and I believe the body style is the century series bodies,

1092AC is 1054
1093AC is 1055
1095AC is 1056
1443AC is 1057

And here's an almost forgotten about bus in the fleet - Bus 456, it was sold to Cross Country tours (Hunter valley coaches) there's a chance that the bus is no longer in their fleet...

East West #936 was on the 566 today. It's not the first time I've seen an East West bus on this route, but the first time I've seen one in East West livery. The ones I saw previously were in PTV livery.

Dysons 765 has been offered for sale after sustaining damage, the bus is being sold on mainheim auctions

I sighted bus 710 back in Wodonga yesterday, was the bus in Wodonga disused or the Shepparton move was a temporary loan, also, 711 is also definitely in Wodonga, it's been in Wodonga for a few months now since the rail replacement in oct. Last year

WODONGA AND SHEPPARTON DEPOT SPECIAL:

BS03WB and BS03WC are 1051 and 1052, are Wodonga school buses
With bus 250 being transferred to the depot, 710 returned to Wodonga, however, it may be shifted around a little.

And for Shepparton depot is bus 1053, this bus did school runs in torrumbarry but the school closed, since then, it now does school runs from Kialla Central P.S.

Dyson's have taken over Wandong Bus and Coach today.
Only three buses will come across to Dyson's

Fleet 1059-1547 AC
Fleet 1060-1572 AC
Fleet 1061-9766 AO

I saw one of the new buses departing Northland today on the 517 route but I wasn't close enough to be sure of the fleet number. It looked like 1047, is this bus in service? It doesn't appear on Fleet Lists.

Reports of it being in service since at least Monday afternoon.

Fleet #1043 is the newly allocated bus on the Kialla Central school run- not #1053.
Thanks.

All of the Volgren Optimus buses in Wodonga depot (except 859 and 915) have been sent to QLD for the 2018 Commonwealth games......

Are there any other buses from all the other depots that went to QLD or is it just those four???

915, 916, 948, 1007, 1012, 1016, 1022, 1042 would have also come as well...

883 still in Wodonga, must have swapped with 915..

Slightly off topic, but didn't think its worthy of its own topic. But with all these vehicles going to the Gold Coast it Will be interesting to see what appears over the next few weeks on the 2 major Metro trains shutdowns (Hurstbridge line and Dandenong line)plus the 60 odd vehicles on Yarra Trams Replacements.

And added to the mix a huge weekend shutdown on the Frankston/Stony Point line from 7:30pm 6 April until 8 April, nothing running south of Moorabbin...!

Kind Regards

Interesting point. On Friday night at Greensborough waiting in Para Rd, I noted as many plain white (Sita?) buses on rail replacement as Dysons liveried vehicles.

Transdev has notices on the wall for the Frankston shutdown

Perhaps Ventura will do the bulk of the Trams & Pakenham/Cranbourne themselves, providing they have the drivers, certainly would have have the buses in the school holidays
