Was on a train passing Westall at about 3:45pm today and saw a new artic bus in Transperth livery driving past the station as my train pulled out, desto showing something like "VIA ALBANY HWY 2". Quite an unusual livery to see in the south-east of Melbourne.

Spotted today was Christians (Ocean Grove) #38 (Scania K93CR, Coach Design) with it's livery removed and painted in all white. Just a repaint or is it up for sale?

Thanks,
Mitchul [;
Possibly, but probably not.

Was so nice to see today, a Tullamarine Bus Lines driver sporting what is potentially the next best thing in bus driver uniforms. A highly professional look that commands an aura of respect and authority in ones allocated vehicle.

You guessed it, the trusty old Tracksuit pants (complete with paint stains) combined with the standard issue TBL Polo shirt.

Saw this same bus again today, still painted in white but sporting a fleet number "438". It must be off to somewhere?

Christians are giving each depot separate number series to remove duplicated numbers across their fleet - keep an eye out as the rest of the Ocean Grove fleet may just get a 4 added to their numbers as well
yolo seems to be a bit of a trend!

Oh, fair enough. Why would it have had it's livery stripped though? The livery looked recently reapplied, last time I saw it.

McHarry's #113 [1613AO] (Scania K270UB, Express "Low Floor") seems to having engine troubles for the second week in a row. Today as we were driving around the bend into St Leonards, the engined seemed to have become stuck in gear or there might have been a malfunction between the accelerator pedal and the engine, because the engine would rev as high as it could, but wouldn't speed up. The bus would then slow down and take off in first, however very slowly.

All Panorama Coaches' Route buses are having Driver Consoles fitted, with most of them already hooked up and displaying "Welcome to SmartBus" on them

Could be to do with the commencement of a new SmartBus service from Eltham to St Andrews, partially to help supplement the overcrowded Hurstbridge line train services operating north of Eltham.

Correct - BusTracker will use the same GPS tracking equipment & software that is used for SmartBus vehicles.

Kind Regards

Panorama has a new bus, I have only seen it passing when I was on another bus but I believe it is MAN, rego 3019 AO making it bus 19 replacing the last Irisbus Agoraline they have.

Hope to get some more details soon.

Thanks Matt

It's an MCV, and the drivers are hating it so far, as the drivers seats are terrible, no cameras installed, laggy throttle, terrible doors, etc. Also, I got a few photos as it was running 579 yesterday:

(I was told by one of the Panorama Drivers that the seats have been slashed already, it's 2 days old.
