It's only fair we send a couple over to you Mitch. There are that many mainlanders over here in Tassie at the moment. Saw Coolum Coaches from QLD today

going.I saw on the news on thursday
night about the no pay thursday.so do

Maybe you misunderstood the words a bit? Metro are still negotiating pay with the Unions Tas, so if you want more info on the Metro side of things contact Neil (Tas Bus Nut) .

In other NEWS 208 has returned along with 244 to Burnie replacement for 208 is a N113

R.T.B.U. NOT Unions Tasmania. More industrial action to occur in upcoming weeks

#192 currently being re-panelled before being placed backin service in Hobart.

#303 NEW AOA for Quadrant (similar style to Bus #306 but different pictures)

I can understand why operators buy Chinese built buses and that is cost not quality. Australian buses are expensive compared to other countries and there a several reasons why, carbon tax is one of them. With more Chinese built coaches coming in the country I can see well known aussie builders disappearing, I hope not.
