#332 K280UB CB60 Metro.

Post by ScaniaL94UB »

I had #332 today, 3 times actually. Rte. 31, 28 and 42.
My personal review: Very very nice inside, quiet, clean and good on fuel. It was a great pleasure to ride on, and when I was at the bus stop waiting - #332 rocked up I thought to myself Thankyou Dear Lord. Ha ha ha. They are very nice, NOW I did not SAY THIS! Best ride I have ever had, even though my name is ScaniaL94UB.. Lol. If anyone got any comments or photos or anything this is the thread of #332.

If you caught it on a Rte.31, Rte.28 & Rte.42, how come the picture is @ Lauderdale terminus :?: Have to concur, the K280s ARE very nice to drive :P

My one and only bus trip for the year was on 333, I thought it was magical, no idea what all the squeaks and rattles are that you lot talk about :P

Hi Neil, it's the only pic I could find, the driver wouldn't be too impressed if I was taking photos of her bus.. She was a little grumpy. Yes they are very nice, considering #336 is the newest K280 still not the best, this was the best. Shhh don't tell anyone (ScaniaL94UB)** :P

Damn! They are SO much more attractive than Perth's horrible, uncomfortable, rough, rattly, VOITH EQUIPPED  , Volvo B7RLE's! and they have a ZF!!! :D I bet they are a pleasure to ride in too!

Great shot btw!
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Speaking from an Adelaide perspective, some of the K280s are quite reasonable, and some are absolutely horrible, especially when the retarder is so strong that all the passengers go flying towards the front whenever the driver lifts their foot off the accelerator...

That's one of my pet hates! Retarders should be set to come on only when the brake pedal is depressed IMO.
