You'll find there is quite a lot of advertising for the NEW Greencard. Radio, TV and I think 15 buses with various size adverts.
#243 hasn't had it's GO-bus advertising for over 18mths now. The BIG news would be if there was a new AOA. THAT would be good

Yes, I realise that . Would you be able to name the bus numbers for me with the adverts for example (#332 Greencard) ? The NEW ones.

Re: Tasmanian Bus Observations July 2012.
Noticed A LOT of shady characters around the place this morning.
Was on #194 heading into the city on a Rte. 685, and there was a head popped out of a bus window near the Rose Bay High/Motel stop... And he was armed with a camera
And in the city, I couldn't be bothered walking up to school, so I waited across from Banjos and lo and behold, the next bus was #707...

The driver of 194 pulled up opposite me yesterday and said "How the f*** do you get to town so quick when we leave at the same time?"
My response (already loaded up waiting for departure time) "Quick bus"

In other news - #11 is all white and ready to go.
#137 has lost its logo's and the yellow. Spied #141 in the panel shop this arvo too... let's hope they bring it back into service

New timetables for Southern and Channel services that commence on 30 July now include section points on the route map.

Spotted a K.D Sims coach yesterday Derwent Park Rd outside Supercheap Auto. Looked like a Mercedes Benz bodied Volgren. And #318 spotted doing a 42 at Granton.

Sims don't have any Mercs. If it was the SAME one I saw Friday, it's a Denning Denflex with PMC body (1 of 2 or 3 they have)ScaniaL94UB wrote:Spotted a K.D Sims coach yesterday Derwent Park Rd outside Supercheap Auto. Looked like a Mercedes Benz bodied Volgren.

Derwent Valley Link Observations TAS
Hi all,
I thought I would make up a Derwent Valley Link Observations thread for people.
To get the ball rolling I got on Ex- Metro Tas #516 now #35 and old MAN Doorstopper, for a School Charter to Wrest Point Casino in Sandy Bay and the next I had was #18 OH1830LE Mercedes-Benz CUSTOM. Also saw #20 Mills-Tui coming back from Launceston on a charter for Friends School

MAN 515 spotted doing 888 Uni runs today. Have the MANs been used much in that role?

Probably not since the demise of the Busy Bee. Very short on vehicles today, hence anything you could get your hands on was takenroyaltiger wrote:MAN 515 spotted doing 888 Uni runs today. Have the MANs been used much in that role?

I've been told 226 has stopped making its strange loud air noise - is this true?
