FULL ITINERARY
Saturday 14 April DAY 1

9:00am Depart METRO SPRINGFIELD 0900 SHARP
Travel to Hobart via BATTERY PT (photos) and TASSIELINK DEPOT
to view the progress on their NEW DEPOT.
10:00am Arrive Hobart Waterfront / Salamanca area for viewing of the FLXIBLE CLIPPERS
of the Clipper Club of Australia.
10:00 - 11:30 Wander through the FLXIBLE CLIPPER display and TB&CS / TTM vehicle display
11:30am Wander over to the CARTELA ferry fo boarding and lunch cuise
11:50am CARTELA FERRY CRUISE & Gourmet BBQ lunch
Cartela celebrating 100yrs since launch before going into extended drydock for refurb.
**Drinks available on board for purchase. BBQ lunch included in tour cost.
13:30pm Board Walkers Coaches for transfer to township of SORELL to enable viewing
& photographing of Flxible Clippers IN CONVOY over the causeways.
14:15pm Whilst in Sorell, visit GILBERTS COACHES and view some of their fleet & possibly
any other operators in the area.
14:45pm Return to Walkers Coaches DEPOT/YARD in Mornington to view THEIR fleet.
15:10 - 15:45 WALKERS COACHES DEPOT
15:45pm Transfer back to Hobart to board HERITAGE/VINTAGE bus(es) back to Springfield
Enroute, travel via scenic locations for photo opportunities.
16:30pm FINISH @ Metro Springfield
** Evening meal @ Carlyle Hotel (next to Metro) OWN EXPENSE (Booked for 6pm)
Sunday 15 April DAY 2

8:30am Depart METRO SPRINGFIELD 0830 SHARP
Travel to Margate via scenic locations for photo(s) enroute & onto WISBYS yard.
9:15am Change "TOUR" vehicles @ Wisby Margate and travel to ROBERTS COACHES Huonville.
10:00 - 10:45 ROBERTS COACHES yard/depot.
10:45am Depart Roberts Coaches for TRANSHUON COACHES Huonville
11:00 - 11:30 TRANHUON COACHES yard/depot
11:30am Depart Transhuon to HUON RIVER FORESHORE for lunch
HUON RIVER FORESHORE - BBQ lunch (included in tour cost)
13:00pm Depart Huonville and travel to the township of CYGNET
13:30pm Arrive @ O'NEILLS COACHES Cygnet
13:30 - 14:15 O'NEILLS COACHES yard/depot
14:30pm From Cygnet, we travel to the Channel region & Woodbridge to view a small fleet of buses
from OAKLEY COACHES & (possibly? MOONS COACHES @ Woodbridge)
15:00 - 15:40 Various viewing of coaches/buses from OAKLEY COACHES @ Woodbridge & Snug.
15:45pm Arrive @ JOHN WOLFE's property @ Snug. John's property has quite a few "interesting"
items & vehicles (apparently guaranteed) to interest everyone????
16:30pm Depart Snug and travel back to Margate (Wisbys) to change BACK into our original "tour"
bus for transport back to Metro Springfield, with drops in Hobart CBD.
IF time permits, we may have a little time to look at GRANT WISE's preserved
MB O305 (ex Telfords ex STA #1973 (Mk.2)) + Wisby's latest acquisitions
17:15 - 17:30 FINISH @ Metro Springfield
