Services to Gagebrook maybe stopped
Saw in Mercury on line that services to Gagebrook may be stopped with Buses Terminating at the Derwent Tavern in Bridgewater. Routes effected are X1,X3,X7 X9, 117, 118, 127. Things never change in Gagebrook and never will. They dont seem to get caught as by time police get there they are long gone. Next they will be crying out that they have no bus service and hard done by, yet this rock throwing continues to happen. How long before a life is lost because of few stupid fools.I can rember being on buses going through there with missiles being hurled through the windows and not only rocks, tow balls and water mains covers to name a couple. One night approaching Jordon river Bridge on #58 a rock came through the drivers window with windscreen smashed also a rock came through rear NS window where lady with 2 young kids were sitting, how we never ended up in the river is amazing, driver got the bus to the other side of the bridge but his hands cut.

An appropriate response from a local in the comments section of the article....
it's time for the rest of bridgewater to step up. These people are ruining OUR suburb, it's time WE did something about it. Who can blame bus drivers for not wanting to come here if people are throwing rocks at them. I'm pretty sure there are decent people out here who know what's going on, it's time for them to stand up and be counted
