NT - The End For Numeric Registrations

Post by MAN_LOVER »

With people asking the occasional number plate question.... Thought i'd share this,

It was announced in October 2009 the NT would introduce CA-12-BC format plates once 999-999 was reached. This has happened during May 2011.

The first plate CA-00-AA has been framed and given to the Territory Transport Hall of Fame.

While The Bushfires Council and Smith Family have been allocated the last of the old series of Territory licence plates and some of the first of the new series to raise money for their organisations.

The colours remain Ochre on White.

What does the C stand for?

Central Australia, in line with their federal interstate plates being C, as NSW was allocated N, back in the days these were introduced.
