I think I must send my apologies this time, got a bunch of stuff I gotta do, so I probably won't be able to make it along. Will get there if I get a chance.

I'm glad we were unanimous on the one decision we made - lifetime presidency!

Oh, and I did chuckle when Mr Nut's commodore didn't start first go :P

In what way are you going to include mainland members with these meetings?
when decisions are made shouldn't all paying Members be contacted?
I am a paying member and have no idea whats happening other than a one page newsletter once in a while? :?:
I think some changes need to be implemented to the way in which this society is ran personally, Its not an attack, just mearly I think the TBCS could perform better (much better) in regards to involving all members.

As a Victorian member all I know is that you go on excursions in 134 each month?
as to the actual meeting and the details of it....

PM sent to you Greg. We are in the process of mailing out minutes of each monthly meeting to keep EVERYONE informed. Decisions in regard to "Presidency" WOULD be voted on (I'd assume), so I think this comment above is only BS. As soon as minutes are typed up and emailled to me, I will print them out and MAIL them onto you (mainlanders) to keep you informed of events here in Tas. We have identified that we are NOT communicating enough, so that WILL change :!:

Im doing my best :) unfortunately at this particular point in time my "spare" time is being rapidly taken up by Family but as said above the Exec committee has identified some key issues and we are taking steps to resolve them ASAP for mainland members. Hopefully Latter in the year you may see 134. I certainly hope "life- time" presidency is NOT the go I'm enjoying my time as Prez but sincinerely hope there are people with in our group that would like the chance to take over some time with new Ideas on how and what to do to move us forward.

Moving forward from now on could you please use the TBCS forum for official TBCS related posts. If you are not registered with the TBCS (as this is part of being a member) please contact "yoda" on the ATBD (this site) or register on the TBCS website wich is www.tbcs.org.au

Cheers for now el presidente Jimbo

Thanks for your comments Greg. We will take your comments on board and make every effort to keep mainland members informed of what's going on. Our recent trip over to the Ventura triple depot tour has given us some ideas and we hope to follow up on them. We are only a newly formed society and it's all all a learning curve for us.
