Bus and Coach show, Sydney 2011

Post by smurftums »

Not sure if this is the right place in the forum, but here goes...

I have some possibly good news from the sales manager of Alexander-Dennis Australia (Michael Musgrove) regarding the Bus show exhibition in October.
They are looking at sending a Custom coach bodied Enviro-200 (not a coach...) up to Sydney for the show and Michael seemed very interested in the idea of fuel money passengers/volunteer drivers! I'll keep in contact with him over the next few months as the situation is still fairly fluid regarding which buses will eventually make it to the show.

Darren.

Nope, if it means more buses on display at the show and a unique experience for the tour participants then that's fine by me (and it will be cheaper than hiring a coach for the trip).

I think that Australia should have an anual event like Showbus in the uk. Restored buses, New buses... It would be awesome. see www.showbus.com for ideas... Just need a good spot that many operators & enthusiasts could all get to.
