Hi all
Since there is a few EE powered locos fan on here, i thought would post this up
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=361858264597
This is a slowly building of a new rail preserve society to save at least one or more EE powered locos.
In the UK there is society's doing this, its about time we in Tasmania we did it too.
We need idea's, some are on the go. There is rumor that Tasrail will start slowly scrapping stored EE powered locos soon.
We need to get in before its too late.

Good idea Damien, at least a Z, ZA as they are Tasmanian E.E's actually all 4 class's should be preserved as they all played a important part in Tasmanias rail history. How many ZC's are in storage complete at East Tamar

More than happy to support a good cause - I have also posted it onto the TBCS Facebook page.

Technically none. But two have bogie's without traction motors. the rest are on transfer bogie's.stevegj52 wrote: How many ZC's are in storage complete at East Tamar
BTW all this sort of got started due to ZC32 bidding farewell to the recycling yard up in the sky. Its not owned by Don River Railway.
