New Busways website and logo.
Busways have undergone a rebrand with a new website and logo
See http://www.busways.com.au
I kinda like it, a very modern logo for an old family run Busways!

Busways timetables are gone - links are now to the Transport for NSW timetables.

Thanks for that - I had not found those. But the change is that they are now the full PDF for the routes concerned including date of issue and the not the piecemeal ones where the routes in a PDF could be split over a number of timetables where footnotes were often very hard to follow. So certainly an improvement in that respect.

After Busways, will we also see CDC rebrand this year?
Re: Busways 2019 Rebrand
While CDC did rebrand its Victorian operations a few years ago, generally it retains the brands of the businesses it purchases. Qcity Transit buses in Queanbeyan have carried CDC NSW branding along the roofline for some time. While a statewide rebrand has been rumoured here for a while, never have been any tangible signs of it happening.stupid_girl wrote:After Busways, will we also see CDC rebrand this year?

However I would expect them to bring operations like Forest and Coastal Liner under their website umbrella like they did with QCity and Transborder.

Thank you for the 'enlightening' contribution. If you find the subject of no interest, usual protocol is just to quietly move on.STMPainter2018 wrote:Thank you, next.

Re: New Busways website and logo.
Bring back the Rowes name. That was a great sounding bus company's name, though Busways has a foot hold in the community's consciousness and has a "government bus" like image to it now. For example, The Entrance Red Bus Services still retains more of a 1980s private bus feel than Busways does on the Central Coast. The drivers are more detached in their manner with Busways, so this new corporate identity seems more befitting of such a business model.

The website appears to have been down for a couple of days now. Anyone got any info on that?

A lot of people use Firefox and shame on their developer for not testing it as such.

Re: New Busways website and logo.
I have received an apology from Busways where they advised that the Firefox problem was fixed - probably yesterday afternoon.
