Martin's Albury purchases Border bus competitor Lodges

BORDER bus company Lodges has been sold to another family-owned business Martin’s in a deal which takes effect in early October.

Great for competition seeing a company buy up another in the same industry. This happens too often these days.
Uber and bus services are very similar. Customers who don't deserve the service they are getting and blame defaulting to drivers.

Be grateful the buyer is locally owned, most sales these days seem to be overseas conglomerates. :(

Martin's even acquired McInne's Bus which does the Rand-Albury School run

More likely to be acquired by an overseas conglomerate once it grows intro a monopolistic monster.
