I was looking at the Macarthur Advertiser Facebook page about 20 minutes ago and I came across this flashback photo from 1964 that includes the bus depot of Campbelltown bus oparator Baker and Howell when did it cease and was it taken over by Mr Rowe

Good morning Campbelltown busboy.
Campbelltown Transit Co.-a partnership of R.W.Rowe.,Jim Newport and Roger Graham took over the business of Baker and Howell on 13/5/67.
If you go to www.sydneybusroutes.com you will find Robert Henderson's magnificent website describing in detail each route in Sydney and its development.
Choose the tab private route histories ,then routes 92 and 93.
Also check out route 102 as the services were under common ownership prior to 1953 under Herbert Harrison.

The Rowe Campbelltown operation was trading as Campbelltown Transit up till the Busways rebranding

The legal and trading name was Campbelltown Transit Pty.Ltd. registered on 24/4/67 to use to take over Baker and Howell's business on 13/5/67.This company was renamed Busways Campbelltown Pty.Ltd.
