Had the chance with the old ticket office... Now rented out as a sandwich and coffee shop.

And also they should build public toilets in KX station
Disagree, that would be a recipe for trouble...

Yeah, needs an upgrade there....

Most parts of KX seem to get used as public toilets.

The government has received an unsolicited proposal by the owner of Kogarah Town Centre to redevelop the station precinct with upgraded facilities and apartment towers.

Small upgrade but additional ticket barrier was added in at Green Square. Closest to the female toilets.

Please at least throw in some description about the article (title isn't visible on mobile apps)- eg.
NSW Labor pledges $280k to upgrade stations.

This is a nothing announcement. Gradual Capex on old stations.

Doing something about Redfern - now that would be an announcement.

I assume that's why so many lifts these days have glass sides, even though that must be more expensive than solid walls.

Already an expensive exercise given they need to move the escalator to fit the lift.
But start with a horrible render and then stretch it is not a great look.

Just a shame the two shopping centre owners (and Coles who has a long term lease) couldnt come up with a better proposal as access to the centres is hopeless for both PT and normal cars, and the bus station could be substantially smaller.

What needs upgrading at Blayney station? This is only served by the Dubbo XPT, right?

Looking at the Wikipedia pic, I'd guess a new ramp, appears to be a little steep.

Certainly not a lift like I expect the metro ones are.

Equally not sure about the Central Coast ones. They are all pretty low usage (<500 day) side platform stations.
