I have received this email which someone may be able to answer

Volvo B5RELH Bustech VST - Do you know of any that have operated or served as a trial bus for one of the TfNSW bus operators in the day of the Waratah logo? I\'m trying to track down the history of the hybrid bus that the ACT is supposed to be trialling, based off contract details and a glimpse of the bus at the depot

It is believed it may have operated with Forest Coach Lines.

It was signwritten for Forest but never operated. The registration has now expired and the bus was last noted stored at Volvo Chullora. The sister unit was trialed in NZ and then Victoria where it is now also stored. Both vehicles are painted in TfNSW livery and are wrapped as Volvo hybrid promotional vehicles.

The Canberra electric trial is also believed to be using a fully electric Carbridge Toros (BYD chassis and Gemilang body).

Latrobe Valley may have been its last deployment?

It has VIN YV3T8R921FA171326 which does not show up in our fleet lists.

This unit was in NZ from late 2015 to mid 2016. Then with Latrobe Valley from late 2016 to mid 2017. It has most recently been in storage.
