Wow an increase of 9 in the past month.
One bus listed under Nowra Coaches has still been included under Premier Illawarra so as not to distort percentages.

This started in 2011. Buses are repainted at half-life refurb, with maximum allowable ago of 25 years for contract buses, so should be complete by 2024 or so.

I think he means that with every company still painting some buses into their regular colours instead of taking the opportunity to convert another unit to TNSW, the rate is being stifled so as 2024 is out of the question.

Not necessarily - the percentage is not of their fleet but the percentage of the total number of buses in TNSW livery - hence the percentages add up to 100%. Of their fleet STA is only 25.36%

Well given that is nothing more than a vanity exercise, no hurry. Unfortunately one day we will end up with a unified livery. :( That will be interesting, 5,000 buses all in the one livery. Me thinks not.

An expression of interest may need to be advertised to look for volunteers (unpaid of course) to assist in re-painting old liveried buses into the contract required (formerly new) TfNSW livery to help speed up the rate of re-painting. :P

Frankly,I can't ever see it being achieved.

NSW Trainline Regional has given up on TfNSW rebranding and has reverted to repainting in the previous Countrylink livery on rail rolling stock minus branding.

Or just stick to the original plan and apply TNSW whenever a repaint is due.
But no, even State Transit keeps choosing to reapply the old livery, so what hope have we got?
Maybe we need more companies to be taken over by TSA.

It is not so much the takeover by TSA, as contracts at that time stipulated that buses had to be repainted, hence Punchbowl has also had all their contract buses repainted and Buways is getting stuck into the region 3 buses

But aren't they only doing that to repair a few scraped panels. Hopefully they have a program for full reprints.

It's not really worth painting the Oscar's when they'll be cascaded to Sydney Trains in 5 years.

The pace of progress is too slow. STA is now a lost cause with TfNSW livered buses. It feels unusual to see a MB O405NH CNG STA bus in TfNSW. The Scania L113CRLs aren't too bad in terms of look and numbers for TfNSW livered buses. Meanwhile I've noticed a few Volvo B10BLEs in V2 livered would like to see it in TfNSW livery.

And the B-Line will add yet another livery -- all change for political reasons - something new and shiny to get publicity

Fact is changes take time. On the airline side Qantas introduced the New Roo in 2007 and there are still a bunch of aircraft without it.

Also been noticing the short red Metro buses on the 311,324,325 routes recently - is this a recent change, certainly looks odd.
