AFL Discussion Thread (2017 Season)

Thought it was time to create the thread for the 2017 season, as the 2016 season has now been and gone.
I'd like to personally congratulate the Dogs on their win of the flag. You beat some damn good teams, so well done ;)

First thing that needs addressing is, that the AFL fixture for the 2017 season was released this morning. The new season fixture can be viewed here.

A couple noticeable things with the new season...
  • - There will be one game held in China (Round 8 - Gold Coast v Port Adelaide).
    - The renaming of Aurora Stadium (now known as University of Tasmania Stadium).
    - A new stadium formed (called Eureka Stadium located in Ballarat, just one game there).
