I'm one of those people who's not the only railfan at my school. I have some friends at school who I also know from other rail forums.
Also, last year, my class spent a week going to the city each day. We used a lot of trams, and my group was relying on me to get them to the right place.

Unfortunately I am pretty much the only transport enthusiast at my school, which makes it harder for me to communicate with my friends about my hobby. I do have other interests but I'm still a bit of a shy person (like most typical nerds).
school isn't to bad there's always a person who shares a genral interest.
And as for work my old boss loved buses half the time I couldn't shut him up about it.

There may be, but I haven't found anyone at my school (of around 900 students). All my friends catch the school buses and hate buses annoyingly I don't need to catch the bus to school I walk because I live 1 bus stop away and I would have to walk further to the bus stop than I would be going on the bus

My old shool before I left to work in a bus company had 1200 students Schoolbus24 on this board was the only one that I know who contacted me via email about buses because we went to school together but different ages.

At my school different ages don't really speak to each other, and also I am quite shy, so unless someone in my class likes buses, I think I will have to wait before I leave school before I meet bus people.

No need to be shy mate I'm a shy person but you gotta open up and learn not to take others opinion to heart if someone tells you you're weird tell them to rack off.... don't need to meet anyone straight away just message and talk to them then arrange to meet them once you have known/talked (to) them.

I do pride myself in being weird, also there are people i the school who think me and my friends are lesser human beings....and we are the A students!

Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.
Last person to tag off a Transdev Joondalup service - 19/1/20.
Following the recent trend of dragging up ancient threads, I'm dragging up this one. At least the last post was less than a year ago (albeit by me as well).
Anyway, I have now met Adelaide Hills DD, The Phonj and Mr Nicoster.
I regularly converse with TA3001 and Hawkeye through PMs and Instagram.
I have also met STA 1440 (even though he doesn't use this board anymore) and have more than likely met Greenman and The Modeller before as well (but can't confirm that).

I wreckon Ive seen that Phonj, judging by the picture, it looked like he was checking out a pack of girls and some other bus driver in the opposite direction gave him a funny look, I could be wrong.
I think I realise today I've spoken to a few of the people on here in person and they were all very nice, I'm not sure if people have reconised who I am yet.
I was going to go up to your car at the traffic lights (South Rd/Henley Beach Rd), but the sight of some dude you've never met before hopping off a scooter and knocking on your car window just because he recognised you from a web forum might have freaked you out a bit.
Well I've only met one person,
Who they are I don't know and can't figure it out for the life of me. . . . . . . .
Anyway it didn't freak me out.
A few weeks ago I was speaking to a bus driver who was having problems with his bus and he started talking about this forum,
He was a very nice young chap
"WEARING RAY BAN type of SUNGLASSES"
He knew who I was but I didn't know him and didn't get his name.
Yes these days. . . . . . . . . . .
