Hi guys,
Lisbon is well and truly into the tram scene with old and new trams running through the streets. They use a much smaller gauge than Porto. Attached is a selection of shots of trams in Lisbon.

Your photos are particularly good - top subjects, well composed and sharp.
Lisbon is an interesting scene - the Video 125 DVD (or Blu-Ray) of Lisbon Trams is well worth buying for those wanting to see more of this city

Thanks for these shots Mr OC Benz. I was not aware that both methods of connecting to the overhead wire can co-exist.

I have more tram shots to post shortly once I've got a bit of spare time.
Yes I wasn't aware both the old and new trams were using same tracks. However up the hills towards the Castle and that area, it is only the old trams as they are short and narrow enough to go up the steep and tight roads.
Lots of disused track remains which can get quite confusing as to which ones are active and which ones are not!

Lisbon tramways certainly run in narrow streets don`t they with a gauge of 2ft/11 you need it running trams in a city like Lisbon.
