Makes sense and is fine by me. Many drivers would have asked for that week off to spend time with their families. And also most routes are dead during that period as no one goes out anywhere they either stay home or go on holidays.
Everything I caught in the modified timetable, all the services were 3/4 empty. Hourly timetable is fine, and probably better than some weekday frequencies, except that some services didnt start til nearly 9am causing an old bat at work to be late which the boss was whinging about.
they claimed "their bus didnt come" obviously they didnt know about the modified TT.
I was 15 mins late to work the days it operated but i just stayed back 15 minutes after.
Also, on the day to work i saw a guy waiting for the 61 at about 7am and i got my modified tt out and the first service was 8.24
