Further to this, the reason for the change to Southern 117 is listed here. It's a good change and takes the confusion out of which 516 service goes which way along Casserley Dve Leeming (at least for those that can't/don't bother reading bus destination boards).

Still no clue yet as to why the
Eastern 97 timetable is changing.

So let me see, previously (currently) it only went anti-clockwise around Casserley Dr, then right onto Farrington Rd to Southlands; and the return journey skipped Casserley Dr and went from Karel Ave to Farrington Rd to Findlay Rd? And now it also goes around Casserley Dr clockwise towards Murdoch? That makes sense, as people along the Casserley Dr area are surely more likely to be going to Murdoch than Southlands.

Also, looks like the only change for Eastern 97 that I can see is that the small logo for Midland Station headings in the timetable has changed from a train to a bus/train combo. Everything else looks the same to me.

Well not quite, in the case that the PTA would know of this change, they would've reduced or predicted how much stock of the current one is required. They generally try and make sure that they produce enough before the next changes happen or when the next reprint occurs.
