Routes 36 and 40 - route change
Effective: Sunday 6 September 2009
Transperth wishes to advise that from Sunday 6 September 2009, routes 36 and 40 will be withdrawn from the Perth Domestic Airport due to revised road layouts being unsuitable for bus operations.
Routes 36 and 40 will return to their former routes operating along Great Eastern Hwy and will no longer operate along Brearley Ave, Fauntleroy Ave or Snook Rd.
Services will be affected as follows:

Passengers are advised that routes 36 and 40 will no longer service the following bus stops:

From Perth

Passengers wishing to travel to the Domestic Airport can board route 37 which travels between the Domestic Airport, Perth and Kings Park.

From Sunday 6 September 2009, the above mentioned routes will undergo service changes.
Services will change as follows:
Route 281
Route 281 currently departing from Godfrey St/Raymond Rd at 10.00am will be deleted due to low patronage.
Route 281 currently departing from Kalamunda Bus Station at 5.42pm will be deleted due to low patronage.

Routes 296 and 299 will undergo minor timetable changes to improve on time running.

Route 799
Route 799 currently departing Esplanade Busport at 3.30pm will be deleted and replaced with an additional route 299 departing from Esplanade Busport at 3.30pm.
Route 799 currently departing Esplanade Busport at 4.10pm will be deleted due to low patronage.
Remaining route 799 services have been retimed to depart Esplanade Busport every 20 minutes between 4.25pm and 5.45pm.

Route 36, 40 - Will change the route via Great Eastern Highway, and will not travel to the domestic airport.
Route 291 - Some trips will be deleted and will be merged from Timetable number 110 to Timetable number 94.
Route 295 - Will be deleted.
