Ventura Bus.

A large number of changes are being made to better coordinate with the 75 tram at Vermont South - the timetable was not revised with the last tram timetable change in September 2009, despite the route meant to offer seamless connections to/from Knox City as part of the Knox Transit Link. Two years late is better than never I suppose.

(The westbound Saturday timetable towards Box Hill doesn't appear to updated online yet.)

There are also revisions to travel times across the entire route, and changes to departures from Upper FTG and Box Hill of full length trips. Notably, the weeknight trip via William Angliss Hospital will now run 31 minutes later.

At a quick glance it also appears that there's also some additional services: nine eastbound on weekdays, nine westbound on weekdays, one eastbound on Saturday, three westbound on Sunday, with one less eastbound on Sunday.

The 732 timetable on the Metlink website now has an end date of 30 December 2011.

The end date of the timetable on the Metlink website continues to show 30 December 2011, with no new timetable available.

Given there is no news item on the Ventura website or twitter feed, one can reasonably assume the change has again been postponed.

Change can't happen until the extra bus is in service.

Please forgive me for not fully understanding how the contracts work, but with all the new Scanias coming on line is it not possible to just hold off on wtihdrawing an older vehicle until the extra scania specifically for this service arrives? Or is there some clause that wont allow that to happen

The Metlink website has now been updated, with the current timetable showing until 31 December 2012 (i.e. until further notice)

The new timetable is not available on the PTV website, and the news item listing routes has not had 732 added. Hmmm....

Ventura have also neglected to post a news item about the revisions to various Croydon, Ivanhoe, Knoxfield & Monbulk depot timetables starting on Sunday.
