Re: Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner performs near-vertical take-off
I've travelled on the Dreamliner from Melbourne to Heathrow via Bandar Seri Begawan and Dubai. Hands down the best aircraft I have ever flown on. The seating is amazing with the 3-3-3 layout, rather that 3-4-3 (or 3-5-3 as Airbus want to implement on their A380s) and a further pitch on their seats.
It is an amazing feat of engineering. I watched one land in Melbourne not last night, but the night before, and the only noise it made was the reversers spooling up. Other than that, it is as quiet as a feather.
Thanks,
Mitchul

New planes (i.e B787 and A350) seem to be very good. I haven't flown on either of them, but would like to ride on an A350 from Adelaide to Qatar I guess (obvioulsy on the way somewhere). Dare I take this as an opportunity to brag that Adelaide was the first palce in the country to get a regular A350 flight? Nah, better not...

That is so cool. I love that plane. I've travelled with the dreamliner from Denmark to New York, and it's the best plane I have been on
