Trolley bus glimpsed in Triple-Car TV Ad
As we don't have any trolley buses in Australia, that TV car ad which has a guy sitting in an open convertible which then jacks up to reveal two other vehicles beneath it must have been made somewhere overseas.
There is one brief glimpse of the rear-end of a trolley bus disappearing out of the left-hand side of the frame. You can see the tips of the trolley poles and the back of the bus. (I think it appears just after the car turns into a three-stack.)
Can anyone identify the trolley-bus livery? We'll then be able to work out the city where the ad must have been filmed!
Thanks in anticipation.

Couldn't post it online for those outside the great bogan land to assist your enquiry?

Sorry, dude, that's beyond my level of digital competence.
A warning for those who are able to watch the ad on TV: There must be two versions -- the longer version has the glimpse of the rear-end of the trolley bus, but the shorter one doesn't.
The 3-stack vehicle is left-hand drive, so that cuts down the number of possible locations.

When you say three stack vehicle, do you mean as in Double-Articulated? There's only a few cities operating them, all of them in Switzerland AKAIK.

If it is the add I am thinking of.I think it could be the rear end of the newer Skoda trolleybuses that Muni in San Francisco have put into service.

No, not a double-articulated vehicle, dude.dude wrote:When you say three stack vehicle, do you mean as in Double-Articulated?
The guy is sitting in a convertible sedan with its top down, he presses a button and the convertible is literally jacked up to reveal that there is another car beneath it (perhaps a 4-Wheel Drive?).
He pushes the button again and these two vehicles are jacked up even higher to reveal that they are on top of a third vehicle (perhaps a ute?) which has been underneath them, unseen, all the time.
The final 3-stack vehicle is pure fantasy.

Spot on! That's the one thanks,Service NL.
But we seem to have a cut-down version on our TV and we don't get to see so much of the trolley bus. You can't tell that it is an articulated trolley bus in our version, but in this longer YouTube version you can.
The trolley bus sequence is at the 7 second mark on the video.

PS
I'm so immune to advertising that I didn't realise it is an advertisement for Mentos!!

I will retract my first answer to me it is one of Vancouver newer E60LFR New Flyer articulated trolleybuses as that it is its back trailer.
