diff options

Post by mr.hall »

Hi. I have a 1952 Leyland opd2 double decker that I am restoring, I was prepping it to be towed the other day and when I checked the diff oil I found it was bone dry so I took the inspection plate off to check the crown wheel and found it is totally buggered.

I was thinking about replacing the diff anyways with a higher ratio one but don't know what is compatible with my bus as the axle is round tube and the springs are under instead of over the axle like most are.

Thanks for any advice
