There must have been several Mercedes-Benz 0303/Austral Tourmaster bodied coaches over the years. Does anyone have any company records/fleet lists that shows how many were made and maybe who ordered them at the time?
I remember one edition of "Truck & Bus" where they featured one. They drove it across the Nullabour.1986 edition I think.
There were the odd one that looked a bit rough (the one in the magazine was one example)but then there were others that were perfect. Even PMC Adelaide did 2 High deck versions, one at the bus show that was a bit rough.I was working there while it was built. The Tourmaster/0303 was a nice looking coach to start with.

Im led to believe the Coffs Harbour had 3 delivered, 2 were N/A and the other was a twin turbo 951CI.......refer to my avatar for the turboed coach. Its had some massive changes and will be repainted white in a few months.

Hi, thinking the Turbo 0303 didn't come out to 1992, I don't think Coffs Harbour Coaches had an Austral 0303/3 Turbo, I feel it was an MCA.

Howards & Swan Hill Bus Lines had the nicest 0303/3 Austral Tourmasters on the road.

You would be partially correct about the 0303 but I can assure you they had 3 Tourmasters. .......mine was the prototype and was released to CHC in late 1985. It was fitted with a compound parallel Holset system, AG Diesels just recoed them btw and MB used it as a development for the 0404 series.
