Thankyou Guy Arab,
Electro pneumatic.

Thanks Boronia,
Yes next weekend we are going to check the pressure on the limiter valve on the air tank to see if we are getting correct pressure.
Does sound like a sticky band possibly or not enough air pressure.

I have a full manual for UK Atlantean if that will help

Yes I spent a few days at Dumfernline when the bus was purchased getting to know the characters that keep that place running.
They are totally devoted to the buses. And a bunch of nice blokes.
They have some wonderful buses there.

I also have another Atlantean coming over from here later in the year.
Shes an ex Glascow in original livery AN68 1982 model open topper URS321X.

Regards

As Bedford29 pointed out (albeit in a rather inconclusive way) some time back, URS321X was actually new to Grampian Region Transport Department as its 321 in 1982. Became part of the 'rebadged' Grampian Transport fleet after the 1986 deregulation / privatization of buses in UK. Passed to First Bus thereafter, a company which was 'born' in Aberdeen in the late 1980s, yet grew to become an 'international' entity within little more than a decade. First Bus subsequently transferred 321 in its later years to Edinburgh, renumbering the bus 721.

My point being that URS321X is actually FAR more an Aberdeen bus than a Glasgow one in terms of its history. I grew up in Aberdeen (still have family and friends there) and have noticed that URS321X is presently offered for sale on ebay, hence my 'sudden interest'. Just wondering if you have any control over the ebay advert. And, if so, whether the bus will eventually be correctly described therein ??

Incidentally, the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum (http://www.svbm.org.uk/) is situated at Lathalmond, NOT actually in Dunfermline - which is the nearest town of 'note' located several miles / km distant.
Intrigued by how some enthusiasts are selective in remembering, or forgetting - maybe blinding them to reality http://www.busaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=42961

Hello Inspector

Can you please advise of the location town/area in Australia where your bus URS 321X is based, for my website The Open Top Bus Site?

I have the bus presently recorded as at an unknown location.

Thanks.

David
