Trolleys in Europe are very pleasent to ride on. Australia has a special breed of it as well:
Just last week I was a Roy Leembruggen's Elroy Engineering site (no www available, Roy is strictly old school). I have my hand full of promoting Waverail (http://www.waverail.com.au is Light Rail not busses of any kind) but what I saw was amazement: First the young Malcom Frazer sitting in the driver seat of Roy's bus and a typewritten recommendation from Mal! Then I was struck in awe: A 450 Passenger(!) double decker Trolley with small wheels but complete with a factory plan for production of an inital run of 50 busses at one per week!
It is difficult to argue with Roy; his charm prevents it. Is there anybody in this room who can entice him to come on this forum?

With http://www.waverail.com.au am I correct in assuming that the heavy rail would then just serve express outer suburbs?
Also I am more impressed with what you have done with the site (great job) than the proposal. My wife is a bit concerned about the not so mobile getting to the last carriage in time.

Thanks for the PM This discussion board covers as much about rail as it does busses and if the guys here can put up with my Parrahub http://www.parrahub.org.au/ then I am sure your Waverail http://www.waverail.com.au would not upset most people.

Spot on. Major outer suburbs direct and fast to the City; plus maybe some cross links. Make rail competitive! More details here

The very frail people will be advised not to walk in Waverail but in time will still find themselves in the last carriage. ‘Less mobile’ people... more
