Favourite seating

Postby 08 XDi » Fri Sep 15, 2006 12:39 pm

The time has come for people to give their opinion as to their favourite urban bus seating. Personally, I am going to go with Vogelsiitze, as they have always seemed more comfortable to me than McConnell or the like. I also don't mind Trimtech for fold-ups. Anybody else have an opinion?

NB: I would have said something like BT CityXpress type high-backed seating, but stuff like that is fairly rare and not designed for all stops type work.

Either Vogelsitze or McConnell Centra with thick roll-tops.

I don't know if they still make them, but I like this style of Saydair seats:

(Busnerd's picture, although I was sitting on the bus when he took it)

Comfortable, nice looking fabric patterns, adequete cushions, and aren't as easy for dickhead vandals to attack as some are :D

I like the high back seats in Southlink Scania volgren artic #2520, the seats are a one of a kind in Adelaide. I also like the bucket seats in Torrens Transit Merc O305G #545...
You got a real flash bus, but my one's flash one, eh
And I believe that my one's faster than yours, Mr Bond
