I seem to be seeing Advertisements in the Armchair Operators forum. Is this a mistake or is it done on purpose?

Can someone please tell me why i am seeing Advertising when i am loged in. I went looking for the post about it but cant find it.

I am now getting them in all forums, one at the top and one at the bottom.

At the bottom "Advertisements by Advertisement Management"

I use an adblock program, but I can see the blue window outline with 'advertisement' on the top for some reason. This wasn't the case yesterday. It's annoying, and I'm just wondering if it's possible to get rid of it?

I'm also seeing the ads when logged in and they appear in every page. I have cleared my cache too but they're still there.

I am in New Zealand & getting them also

I have exactly the same problem, on iOS, Windows 10, OSX. I use Safari and Google Chrome, but somehow I don't think it makes a difference.

I'm getting them on desktop Firefox/Win 7.

Up till last week there was only one, at the bottom of the page; now there is 2

Seem to have gone now.

While adjusting the setting for the guest advertisement the restriction on who ads get displayed to was inadvertently cleared.

This setting has been reversed and Adverts should no longer be appearing to the "Registered Users" group.

That certainly is one way to eliminate them...
