ATDB Now available using Tapatalk Iphone/Android/Nokia app

ATDB is now available for viewing using the Tapatalk application which is available for a number of popular mobile phones - Iphone, Android, Nokia and Blackberry. You can still use your web browser on your phone to view the forum as well.

Iphone users can download the app from the App Store. There are two versions of the app - a free version which allows 'read only' (called Tapatalk RO) and a paid version for $3.99 which lets you post replies, access private messages etc. Go to http://www.tapatalk.com/ for more info.

As well as ATDB there are 2768 other forums which can be viewed using this app. Below is some info from Tapatalk's website:

If using this app and you reply to a message you will not receive email notifications of replies to your message. If using on apple products it's good that it uses the system spellchecker

The Tapatalk application does not have all the functions of browsing the forum through a browser, but what it does do is maximise screen space for better viewing on your phone - shows more messages and requires much less scrolling. It also lets you upload images which you can't do via the browser on the iphone.

There is a Upcoming Tapatalk for iPhone update contains full landscape mode support as long requested by a lot of the users. Also there are numerous performance and user interface improvement - Expect the update to arrive in next 10 days as soon as Apple approved the app.

It is indirectly because of this site that Vicsig is now on it.

Once I had a popup on my iPhone telling me that ATDB had Tapatalk, I took it to Vicsig and they loved it.

For those that have an iPad, there is a native iPad app called forum runner that is compatible with this forum?. Admin needs to add a plugin.

Yes I know it is easy to view atdb on iPad but you may have more functions with forum runner

I'll have a look at the iPad plugin, but doubt I will install it. The Tapatalk iPhone app is great as it uses the small screen size intelligently, but for iPad the large screen size means that the full version of websites are easily viewed on it. I know there are a few people using an iPad (myself included) but the number of people is nothing like the number who use an iPhone.

Glad you are keeping tapatalk unlike another forum I use, they ditched it for 'security' issues but i think it is because they are too lazy to update it.

I have noticed with the latest update, when viewing the forum, you have to view the sticky threads separatley to the rest, (i.e) none of the sticky threads appear in the Discussion - Sydney / NSW thread.

That has always been the case, ever since Tapatalk was installed on this forum.

I have just done a major update on the Tapatalk software so it is now up to date with new features (including using Tapatalk on iPad if you couldn't before).

Ensure the Tapatalk app on your Apple device is up to date to get all the features.

Are you aware that board express is a renamed tapatalk client for windows phone. And is made by the same people as tapatalk.
