(REQUEST) Bus restoration sub forum
Is there any chance of putting in a sub forum called "bus restoration" to make following the progress of various projects a bit easier to find?
Thanks

I'd say put this in News & Administration Jimbo, the admins will have a look at it then. Good idea though I reckon we could do with one of those

This board seems to be turning into a help section instead of a discussion board. 99.9% of peoples problems can be solved using a simple 'Google' search.

well i tend to disagree hornibrook if we can make life a little bit easier to find things on this forum why not? yes probably a simple google seach will uncover these things, but having a specific section to bus restorations i think would only "enhance" mine and others experiece

Yeah fair enough. My post wasn't referring to your proposed section, but to others which are currently in place. I find, Google is your best friend!metro_tas wrote:well i tend to disagree hornibrook if we can make life a little bit easier to find things on this forum why not? yes probably a simple google seach will uncover these things, but having a specific section to bus restorations i think would only "enhance" mine and others experiece

A restoration section would work in my opinion. More emphasis need to be placed upon returning the enthusiast focus on this board, and less focus on pandering to the kids e.g. The Games Cupboard.
Mix a healthy focus on genuine transport enthusiast content and discussion with a willingness to allow members free speech and open expression of their beliefs and views, and you are on a winner.

Maybe a sub section - historic photos plus a restoration forum - one's purely about old pics and discussion around that, the other can be progress discussions and the like, or if someone finds an olden out in a paddock, then those of us with projects in progress and have hit a snag, they can pick the collective brain....
