Greeting, with the increasing number of rail photos now showing up, maybe you could split the Photo, Videos section up into a Bus and Rail sections, and while we are at it an aircraft section as well..???

I'd prefer sub-forums for each state in the photo section, than a separate rail only picture forum.

I don't think each mode should be separated as a lot of members like all forms and this is a "Transport" board.
The current format of all states together means more are likely to view the lot instead of viewing some states and forgetting the rest.
I've found a lot of interesting photos and cleared up a few wrong ideas since i stopped ignoring some states.

As for sub-forums they are too fiddly for users to navigate as has been discussed previously.
