1:76 Sydney Underfloor Bus Models - New Release !

Greetings fellow enthusiasts,

At long last, the wait is over. Available, for the first time, replicas of the following 'Double Desto' Sydney Underfloors!

1:76 AEC Regal IV 9823E

AEC 3161 ComEng body (Green and Cream livery) as photographed in 1959 on George Street when 5 months old

377 Martin Place Express, W21

production- 100 units

This bus has the paper desto sign and DGT headlights with the black surrounds representing the bus as delivered new from ComEng

Please note, the models only just arrived and the photos are of the pre-production samples which are missing the infamous offside rear vision mirror and the last row of seats are facing the wrong way. The actual production models have these errors corrected.

Models can be obtained from either source with the exception of the Green & Cream Worldmasters which will initially only be available direct from Rob's Classic Models

An in depth 10 page article including detailed specifications of the underfloors and their history will appear in the next issue of 'Vintage Trucks & Commercials Magazine' and a summarized 4 page article will appear in the next issue of 'Australian Bus' which will make for a great reference to these vehicles and the running changes that were progressively introduced during overhauls and whilst in service
