The idea of 'branding' Hong Kong started in 1997 after the handover to the Chinese. The government agreed to do this from 2000 and it was launched in 2001 as "Asia's World City" with a simple stylized dragon motif. A review in 2008-2009 changed to logo to a more complex and colourful on, and it was launcedh in 2010. Various models of buses trams and ferries have all been decorated with this logo in the subsequent years.
Models released have been 1 bus with the first logo, and 2 trams, 1 ferry and 3 different buses with the latest version.
