Yes and trux are asking if we want it with doors open or closed I would like both with diferent numbers or sell them so you can glue them open or closed, however they are talking about better detail etc as Im sure they will sell well.

nothing like the real thing a joy to drive not like new buses
Re: Trux - July
Hi all
An update on the Leyland Leopard MKI and MKII is that I have signed off on the final tooling mould and they are now making the actual tool so they can send me their first tooling shot. With regard to the question about 'do you want it with the front doors opened or closed' there was a resounding "closed" from about 95% of the people who responded via phone, email and letters, so closed it will be.
The only question is now, as the MKI will be the first one to be released, what livery should we make? Government or Private? What route and to where? Do you have a pic of the bus you would like to see and does it have advertising (remembering 99% of all bus pics show the front and I will also need a rear pic as well if we're going to make it accurately). Will it be green/cream or blue and white? Doesn't have to be Sydney, could be a Newcastle or Darwin if you like (did they have them in Darwin?)
Lets have some discussion and I'm happy to comply with what ever we all agree on

Re: Trux - July
Every government livery you can!! I don't think private livery version will be popular.
Maybe the mark IIs in some private liveries would sell better as many more people will remember seeing those, eg: Canterbury Bus Lines or West Bankstown Bus Service.

NSW, the state that embraces mediocrity.
Re: Trux - July
Finally, the TX16L Denning DenAir - Stateliner buses which have been held up by Australian Customs for over a month now, have been released and will be here tomorrow. We will be madly shipping them out to everyone so that some of you will have them before the weekend.
Apologies for the delay

Re: Trux - July
Good to see the models are progressing along.
Would like to see Government livery first then the private ones later on.
Also think that period correct advertising makes the models look more realistic. The leopards in Govt. service always seemed to have ads on the front as well. (usually for some driving school)
Maybe you could do a double release like you did with the Merc's? One in blue/white and the other in green/cream.
