Trux refers to them being in "State Transit blue and white". It is actually PTC blue and white.

FINALLY some mirrors on a Trux bus.

I pity the drivers of all my other Trux vehicles, as they'd be a b*tch to drive around the city.

I have sent an email to them asking if the mirrors can be purchased separately as I would like to fit them to the other denning deckers I have (and perhaps adapt to fitting other buses in my Trux fleet). I will report back with the reply.
.
Job done.

If anyones interested in adding mirrors, a friend of mine has used wire........ cable from something you dont need anymore, its stiff enough and can be shaped whatever way you want the mirrors......... and use a piece of card for the mirrors, just cut it out into a small mirror shape! It works and as the wire is so light, it will glue easily to a model but beware of the type of glue you attempt to use, you dont want frosted windows!

I've looked at the spiel, and unless you were a rabid model car collector, I can't see too much value.

You may find that by doing this, your model would lose it's value - I do like the idea of a purchase from Trux of the mirrors to add to you existing collection - also bull / Roo bars would be an excellent addition.

What I would like to know, is when Trux are going to produce an Domino Austral DC122 as these were as prevalent on the roads in the 1980 era as the Denning DenAir?????????

Almost one in two models I get from Trux goes back due to fault or damage. The most usual being chips or scratches to paint work due to their hopelessly outdated and inferior packaging style.
To their credit though, returns don't cost me anything and a replacement is always sent promptly and without quibble.
