I personally don't think its worth that much, probs $150 max.
Re: OZBUS9002 Sydney Buses MAN SL202
It's a modifyed version of ozbus 9001 mercedes-benz mark V just with the changed of desto, sydney decals and the MAN logo.I need a Sydney version of the mark V but not in the UTA livery.
Re: OZBUS9002 Sydney Buses MAN SL202
Just buy one of the models as they are a MKV, the only thing that makes it a MAN model is the MAN badge as the vents and access panels are different and the fleet number but apart from those little changes it is a MKV.sta wrote:Still no bids on it.

If a MAN was to be produced, it would need the changes as I mentioned above and the original liveried version should have the chunky rear bumper not painted on a Randwick MAN with the desto of 377 Pagewood with the bus sitting lower then the MKV.

It does have the different panels that the MANs have, so it is more than just the badges and fleet number that are differnt.
I quizzed whether or not an R depot example was being produced and unfortunately the answer was no. I would jump on that one. 3294 on 891 UNSW Express....!

Re: OZBUS9002 Sydney Buses MAN SL202
Sorry Andrew, sta is right, it's only a MkV repaint, not a MAN.
It's a fair go at it, but it's clearly just a Merc repaint.
1. The engine air intake is the worng shape, the Merc's had the same grill as the front intake for the heater, the MAN's had a louvred square.
2. The fuel filler on the MAN's is farther back from the front wheel.
3. The access hatches behind the rear wheels on both sides are smaller on the MAN's.
I loved the MAN's, I dod work experience at PMC when they were being built and lived in Maroubra and Coogee where 3283 - 3302 ran. The 5 speeds were great going up the bus road at full tilt!
