NSW, the state that embraces mediocrity.
Re: Post your collection
Any chance you could post some of those cars that I can see in the background of some of those pictures, Swift? It looks like you have quite an enviable collection there.

Yes, that's a 1:50 compared to the majority which are either 1:76 or 1:87.Tas Bus Nut wrote:That RED artic is a lot longer than the red/black ones

Re: Post your collection
Hello all. I'm new to this forum and haven't posted before. I found my way on here when I was searching the web for bus models. I don't have any real connection with buses but they bring back great memories of my childhood. Incidentally I am a professional driver I suppose as I've been behind the wheel of Ambulances for 25 years now.
Anyways I've been impressed by some of the collections on here so I thought I'd put up a pic of mine. These are all Sydney Buses and I'd just taken them out of my cabinet last night to make way for more diecast aircraft (is that a dirty word around here?). They've all gone back into their boxes and are in a plastic bin up in the roof (sacrilege too I suppose!). They will see the light of day again in the not too distant future just as soon as I can find an appropriate cabinet.
As far as I now I've got just about every diecast Sydney Bus released, plus a few resin ones and have some more on preorder. So...here they are

Re: Post your collection
Hi Heathpete. ANY type of transport is welcome on this forum. Although most is primarily buses, there are more than a few posts on ambulances, police cars, trucks, planes etc etc etc. So feel free to post your pics no matter what type of transport.

Re: Post your collection
Very impressive collection, Heathpete- and welcome to the board - if you have any ambulance pictures you'd like to share, they would be most welcome (we have a few 'uncloseted' emergency vehicle fans - including myself) on the board!

Job done.

Re: Post your collection
Thanks for the welcome and thumbs up for the collection. My Bankcard Atlantean arrived today so the fleet continues to grow. I'll have a dig around in the coming days Andrew and post some Ambulance pics. I'm sure that I even have a pic of a rare dual rear axle F100 prototype somewhere the NSW Ambulance trialed back in about 1990. Apparently it could lap lap Oran Park raceway quicker than a standard F100. Better rear traction I guess.

Re: Post your collection
In your fifth and sixth photo, Mc OC Benz, what are the two buses on the right in the front? The red artic and the other coloured* rigid? They look like Solaris Urbino's but I may be wrong.
Thanks,

The red artic is an MAN Lion's City G, and the other is a Youngman.
