Looks good. Hopefully Nov 2011 MEANS Nov 2011, as Transit Graphics haven't been very good with their delivery dates :?

These are made in HK by CMN; TG is only the local distributor, so probably doesn't have much say in the production or delivery process.

CMN: HK company, models made in China.

The model should due on time or by this year because they've got pp models already and if the final products all passes QC it should be fine. Unlike the CDC CB60, which doesn't have any further news about it.

HERE HERE well said captain as anxious as some people are I'm sure they would prefer a quality well built model to display, rather than to say they were ripped off on price & quality

There is no mention on the cmnhk website so the model may be manufactured by another factory.

Those complaining about models coming late in production should be banned from getting one. Who knows what is happening where they are made, there could be many reasons for delays, including teaking the model a bit to improve the final product.

Oh and its not like they are only making these models, they would have other runs to do aswell.

Many thanks to those having a whinge and bitch about MY comments re: delayed release dates, HOWEVER when they are OVER 12mths late from a expected release date, you do have to question what the problem is :!: I am well aware there are delays AND "tweeking", but I find it a bit offensive the comments of some. DON'T any of you complain when you don't get things WHEN you expect them. GET OFF THE MORAL HIGH GROUND.
I have PAID for a Pre-Pay model from Sydney Bus Museum and that is over 3mths LATE, but I'm not complaining about that. I made a simple comment about Transit Graphics release date of a particular model, considering their last one was nowhere near their stated release date.

Looks pretty good at pre-production stage. The desto font is perfect. Compare to Trux's current Frog, and where the "St" in "ST PETERS STATION" was the wrong case.
That unique DGT number font is also difficult to replicate.
Well done TG.
BTW, I wonder if 3140 suddenly becomes a enthusiast target when it is put to market, unless scrapped first.

I apologise if it twas I that caused resentment I too recall many times of the "promise" & others only for a headache (or similar to arise quite conviniently) & having been so long ago had forgotten just how disapointing it can be, so please my apollogies unreserved. Doc68

far from being on my high hourse, i'm stating facts that ppl are complaining that a model is late!theres things do take time, hell of a lot of money, goes into these and that moneys tired up for a while, frustrating as it is ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,some become very late! eg westbus model.I TO HAVE WAITED FOR THINGS usually a polite call or e mail usually gets a answer! it doesnt look good to have the company bagged out over it! ................why would u bother theres only a couple of them that do aussie models for us ...............if they dropped out were would we be them god i'm as patient as the next person ..........had to wait for a medical device for 6 months and i'm dying of cancer so imange the pain i was in ..........as i said just let things take there time be patient it turns out better in the long run p.s if you think i was on my high horse, let you tell me with only les than 6 months to live had ive a been you would of got both barrells i'm not so toleratant now  and pain 24/7 doesn't help!

They never update their website until the last minute of release, same as the Adelaide model last time. Still no one knows if these models are made by CMN or not

From the TG website:
Welcome bus model fans to the TransitGraphics Bus Model Shop. TransitGraphics is the Australian distributor for the complete Creative Master model range including the home grown AUBUS modern day city bus range.
Also I was intrigued by this claim:
Stay tuned for the new and exciting releases for the AUBUS model range, new models are planned for release every quarter.

wow what a great model - you guys should also do a Mk 2, there would be a demand if the quality is that good! True, there would be competition from other modellers but quality always wins....as has been said, details like desto font are important and not always observed.

I hate to be picky but I don't think it would have carried Urban Transit logos and school bus lights at the same time. Also, the front marker lights should be side mounted for that livery. Maybe they should have done a later livery?

We have also identified some further errors such as incorrect external lights and internal details that would not have existed when 3140 was in UTA livery. This is already being rectified with the manufacturer.

There are quite a few details on this model which are incorrect. The headlights should be flush with the front panels and the front blinker lights should be proud of the body, both are recessed in this picture. The side blinkers need to be bigger, the school lights removed and the front marker lights moved to the side and made orange. If the bus is in 'as delivered' condition, it should have the Metroten system not AFC and the near side mirror moved from that silly Henderson Report arm back to where it belongs.

I'm sure there's plenty of photos in the archive of original MkV's to use as an example.

Interesting they have changed the model designation from AUBUS to OZBus, so to me it sounds like the model is not from cmnhk.

Ok, the website has being updated go here for full details of the model: http://www.shop.transitgraphics.com.au/ukplus.html

Go here for the UTA version:http://www.shop.transitgraphics.com.au/ ... l-bus.html

Go here for the STA version:http://www.shop.transitgraphics.com.au/ ... l-bus.html

Compared to the die cast models of the AUBUS range, these are more then twice the price :?:

if you don't like these models, which stated are hand made, and the faults ppl are picking up on them, the cost ect don't buy them ............there are ppl on this site who are willing to support this company...................when the models ceast been made, from all the nit picking complaints you only got your selves to blame, and yes ppl are intitled to there opions but its starting to get a little bit down on the ppl who try to do the right thing by modelers!these are my views not the producers
theres a hell of a lot of money invested in these models and theres still many adelaide/canberra models left over so much for support a aussie company! so please if you have a genuine concerm regarding price and what you think is wrong with the model tell the company concerned, not bag them on this site................ :|

That could very so be true (if something happened between cmnhk and tg, but maybe it's another section for buses. The UK have several different numbers for their models, maybe this is the same. But why the price!!!
When you look at the AUbus page, it says Transit graphics in parnership with cmnhk are producing models of Australian modern low floor buses, (or something). This would not meet the definition. Thus the reason why it might of been changed to Ozbus.
