Yes but 6 months after a person paid for an item?

If I waited that long for any thing, I would have said you are taking an unreasonable time, and now require a full refund, including a full refund of the postage & handling cost. I've known people that have ordered overseas, and have got them within less than a few weeks.

Yes, I know. Their explanation for delay was the original was NOT suitable and had to go back to China for the artwork :?: :?: They initially offered me a refund, but at that stage said it should be available within a month. That was a few months ago. Fingers crossed for this week, otherwise we'll see :?

At least the SBM were willing to make sure you get a good made model, and not a second rate model.

Bairstow must be psychic. My Volvo PREPAY arrived today, although the "signwriting" isn't the best (not as sharp as I expected), BUT at least it's here. I heard Sydney buses run late, BUT . . . . . . 5 1/2 mths  (#39 of 40)

Another Explorer is on E bay at the moment:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SYDNEY-Merce ... 23178ab15c
Current bid: AU $92.00
There are only 2 people bidding on it so it will be interesting to see the final bid :?:

Another one from the Bus Museum ??

It still has nearly 5 days to go. The desperate buyers leave bidding to the last 30 seconds. 8)

Does anyone else think that the very nice Merc 305 model resembles the AEC Merlins that were in every corner of the British Isles and even Malta and Cyprus??? :?:

You are an avid collector Boronia. It would have been interesting to see some of the last AEC 760 Swift chassis sold in the 1979/80 period recieve the Mecedes mark II body instead of the dated PMC progress style bodies.
